Costa Rica Jami and Shelby!

Hola from Shelby and Jami,

We are having an awesome time here in this beautiful, tropical place! Shelby’s favorite part of the day was the Sky Tram and seeing the beach. Jami’s favorite part was all the rain in the rain forest when it down poured! She also loved hanging butterfly crysislises (cocoons) and letting them free in the observatory!

Love Jami and Shelby!

I ate enough to last me until the second flight, when i had one of those little boxes of food. we were 2 hours late, but the flight was very nice. the today, we went on a sky tram through the rainforest, and we saw a sloth. it was raining slightly, butjust as we went back up it POURED.Luckily i brought my poncho. we saw the butterfly garden and released butterflies.

See ya later,

Liam

Days 1 and 2 at CR

Day one

This is Tommy, most of the time we spent in the airport was waiting, then more waiting, and even more waiting.  The one plus was BLUE RASBERRY FANTA! It was awesome!  Our flight was 2 hours late though….

Today was pretty fun.  We saw a waterfall, plus some butterflies, and a couple frogs.  The food is good, but I miss fatty american food and my dog.

Still Alive,

Tommy

What's a Rain Forest without Rain??

WOW! What a fun day! We were able to experience the rainforest at it's best!! It poured rain on us and it was WONDERFUL!! We saw some amazing floura and fauna but the best part of today was definitely when it went from sunny to pouring rain in a matter of minutes while we stood under the beautiful canopy of the Costa Rican Rain Forest! Amazing!

News by Emma S. and Anna A.

Hello! This is Emma the animal lover
and Anna:]
You too :) Anyway, we're reporting for the Costa Rican Times. Today we will be intervewing 2 animals/fruits each. I will be doing the chickens and the Strawberry Posion Dart Frog.
I am going to describe two costa rican fruits. The first is the guanabana and the second is the mimonchino.
First I'll do the chickens. Ms. Chicken, why did you keep crossing the road?
"Well, I just was walking on the road when you came in that big bus. It was nice that you stopped for me though. Anyway, I was just going to go to my owner. We wander around sometimes, you know."
I see. Sometimes you stay in your coop when there's a fence though, correct?
"Yes."
Thank you! Now I'll do the Poison dart frog. Mr. Frog, why are you red?
"I'm bright red to warn others that I am poisonous. Don't touch me!"
I will not. How many frogs of your kind did I see today again?
"2."
Thank you for your time! This is Emma the animal lover, signing off. I miss you Patrick and I hope that you are having tons of fun. Dad, thanks for the flashlight!! Spay or Neuter your cats and dogs!! p.s. Mom is having a great time, too!
First I will tell you about the guanabana. It is green and spikey on the outside. on the inside it looks like white mush. The fruit tastes sour and is very chewy and stringy. the jucie is much sweeter and white too. If you come to costa rica you should denfinitely try it.
I am only going to do one fruit today to tired to write anymore have a bit of a stomach ache. I will tell you about the mimonchino another day.Bye see you Tomorrow on the next edition of Costa Rican Times. This is Anna:] signing off.

Hi everyone! It's very beautiful here in Costa Rica, and I am having a great time. We rode in the bus for 4 fours and eventually reached Limon where we rode in a Sky Tram over the rainforest. I saw a three-toed sloth, a toucan, and several poisonous dart frogs. We just moved to a new hotel with cabins for us to stay, a pool, and a jacuzzi.

Hi Mom and Dad, I'm having a great time! After a 4 hour bus ride we got to the rain forest and hiked to the Sky Tram. On the Sky Tram we had a great view of the forest. Then we hiked to the Puma Waterfall and took pictures. Some of the kids here play DnD and we are playing tonight.
